Sofía is a Guatemalan living in Denmark for the past year with a BA in International relations. She has worked in feminist programs in Guatemala, as well as education for youth and rural women on their rights and the feminist movements of the country. She has also worked and supported work of women organizations, missing people and crimes against humanity during the Guatemalan internal conflict. Sofia also participated in four different cultural exchanges over the years, which has given her a broad perspective of world issues, different cultures, inmigration and human rights. Sofia’s dream work is supporting women and children in the Global South, through cultural programs and advocacy of human and women’s rights.
Sofía is currently working as an independent consultant in JASS and as a volunteer in social programs with immigrants in Denmark.
