Shamillah Wilson is a South African coach, activist, and social entrepreneur. Her particular areas of expertise include developing and curating educational content (training and toolkit development), monitoring and evaluation, movement building, and facilitating complex conversations or processes relating to organisational, collective, and individual wellbeing. Her real passion and interest lies in supporting organisations to align their practice with their values to build thriving organizational ecosystems.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts as well as an MPhil in Inclusive Innovation from the University of Cape Town. In 2012, she launched Project Ignition, an initiative that develops the social, emotional, and economic literacy of youth. In 2015, she won the prestigious Inyathelo Women in Philanthropy Award for her outstanding contribution towards youth development. She is curious about life and the world, and she enjoys great conversation, music, and the company of good books.
