Fabiola is a Nicaraguan woman with over 15 years’ experience in international development. A social communications graduate, who initially started her career as a journalist, Fabiola recently completed her MBA, specializing in organizational management. She has worked in national, regional and international NGOs specializing in women’s empowerment, human rights, advocacy, health, and economic development.
Fabiola is a feminist and driven by social justice. Her experience in a Central American feminist NGOs and in partnership with grassroots women’s organizations across the region has given her a deep understanding of development issues affecting women in both urban and rural settings. She recently joined JASS as Mesoamerican Program Coordinator where she plays a supportive role across the regional program. She enjoys photography, reading and long walks with her dog.
