Nikita is an Indian feminist activist trained in Social work, Human Development and gender theory. She has worked for over 12 years in nonprofit spaces as trainer, community mobiliser, and fundraiser, linking transformative on-ground community work with resources critical to undertake such work. She has worked in philanthropy from a feminist lens with Womens Funds and now with JASS, bringing commitment to breaking silos in funding by centering power structures, redistributive and intersectionality principles, and bridging the gaps between narrative and practice for what is truly takes to build feminist movements ground-up for irrevocable change. Outside work, she loves hiking, playing ammmateur soccer, and being in nature.
