In Mexico there are about 100,000 missing people. In almost all states, groups of family members have formed to search for their loved ones in the hope of returning them home. Most of them women have had to adapt to the pandemic to continue their work, digging in clandestine graves, following clues, putting pressure on the authorities. Their creativity, commitment and courage are an example for everyone. We accompany the women of Mexico’s National Search Brigade for Disappeared Persons, the mothers, sisters, daughters and other relatives who had to adapt to the health emergency to continue their search.
