Laura Velázquez De León

Laura is a proud Mexican woman who is skilled in microcomputer operations, is passionate about logistics, and is always searching for ways to support those around her with the incorporation of innovative digital platforms. As the Program Associate for JASS Mesoámerica, Laura is responsible for regional and local event logistics and closely supporting regional coordinators, particularly those in Mexico. Laura has been collaborating with JASS for over 8 years and everyday she is reminded the complexisities of the feminist path that has a focus on selfcare. Laura is passionate about traveling to different eras, countries, cultures and states of emotion through music and deeply enjoys the communion that occurs at large concerts. Through empathy but above all with a critical lens, Laura is always generating small acts of change, that may not be shifting the world as a whole but definitely positively impacting her community.
