Justine Alyssa Siscar is a researcher, activist, and a writer from Manila, Philippines. During her time in the university, she worked with fellow students and youth from urban poor communities in Metro Manila in campaigning for access to quality education. She also spent a few years organizing peasant and indigenous women in Luzon. Before she became a part of the JASS Southeast Asia as the country coordinator for the Philippines, she was previously a Research Coordinator for the Center for Women’s Resources, one of our strategic partners in the Philippines.
