Azania Ajax Mbali Sengwayo, the JASS South Africa Community Organiser, is a Black radical Pan-African Feminist and social justice activist. Azania has a long history of organising within the LGBTIAQ+, anti-GBV and SRHR formations and movements. She has also been part of the JASS Feminists Movement Building Circles in Gauteng mobilising against structural violence as experienced in communities. Azania is also the recipient of the Best Youth LGBTI organisation 2021 Feathers Award. She currently sits on the board for Forum for the Empowerment of Women as the secretary and Thuli Home as the Co-Chair along with being a former youth coordinator of PFSAQ (Parents Families and Friends of the South African Queers)
