Aída is a Guatemalan feminist who began her profession as a sociologist, working in research and local organisations that allowed her to work deeply with rural communities. She lived in a community of internally displaced people for a year to prepare her undergraduate paper. The experience in different projects and institutions made her see the importance of work culture, internal systems and implementation effectiveness. Aída completed an MBA in France to acquire the necessary skills to support internal operations. Since then, her motto is to help women’s organizations enhance their internal systems and strengthen their capacity to implement their plans and achieve their strategic objectives.
Aída had her first experience with JASS Southeast Asia as an MBA intern in Cambodia. She then joined as an organisational consultant for JASS Mesoamerica. In 2021, Aída joined as Operations Manager for JASS Mesoamerica.
