JASS is co-leading a fact-finding mission to Honduras and Guatemala with the Nobel Women’s Initiative and the Rigoberta Menchu Tum Foundation. Lindsee joined JASS in September 2017, serving to support the Executive Director, Board, and JASS Leadership Team. She holds a Master's degree from Teachers College at Columbia University where she studied International Educational Development with an emphasis on humanitarian issues. Lindsee spent the past few years in New York, where she most recently worked as the office administrator at an international agricultural data company. She previously consulted for the Women’s Refugee Commission and the DREAM Project in the Dominican Republic.

Over 80 local, national, regional, and international organizations signed the following letter addressed to the Dutch Development Bank (FMO) and the Finnish Fund for Industrial Cooperation (FinnFund). expressing their concern with details shared during the July 6th announcement by the FMO and Finnfund regarding their withdrawal from the Agua Zarca hydroelectric project in Honduras. The letter was delivered to the Managing Director and CEO at the FinnFund and CEO at the FMO in early August 2017.

 Mattison is a recent graduate from American University’s School of International Service, where she studied Middle East and North African regional issues, as well as Justice, Ethics, and Human Rights. Mattison was born and raised in Chicago, where she worked on small business development and grassroots organizing until relocating to Washington, where she has been employed at the Arab Center Washington DC and the Public Interest Research Group.
