A Letter from Shereen Essof, Executive Director Dear friends, Something happened this year that…

This year has reminded us, once again, that we cannot build what we cannot imagine – and we cannot imagine alone. Across regions, feminist organizers, activists, groups, collectives, and movements have held onto something precious: the understanding that in moments of crisis, connection becomes a form of resistance. That creating space for one another – to think, to strategize, to rest, to build – is itself a political act.
At JASS, we meet this moment by deepening our work to build the critical connections that organizations and movements need. By accompanying activists as they sharpen their strategies. By creating spaces where feminist analysis can deepen and alliances can form. By insisting that even when the world tells us to turn inward, we turn toward each other instead.
Thank you for being part of this collective: The JASS community. Together, we will continue to build the just world with the kind of Just Power we know is possible.
In solidarity and hope,
JASS
