Stronger, Safer & Louder: JASS @ AWID 2016 Forum

  • JASS

We are so excited to be part of the AWID Forum this year. Join us and our allies in sharing stories and tools for cross-movement power and change including the launch of three exciting resources for movement building and women human rights defenders:

    • ICTs for Feminist Movement Building Activist Toolkit – a practical guide for activists who want to understand ICTs, influence how they are developed and build responsive, sustainable and effective communications strategies that support movement building work and change.
    • DefendHer – a women human rights defenders digital campaign collaboration with Global Fund for Women, MADRE, and JASS.
    • WeRise: Movement Building Reimagined – JASS’ online resource kit and platform drawing from the last decade of training and organizing with many allies. Check out the latest teaser!

  • Tools and strategies for the power and protection of women human rights defenders from Mesoamerica.
  • Stories and alternative feminist visions from indigenous and rural women leading the efforts to protect natural resources and land in Southeast Asia, Southern Africa and Mesoamerica.
  • Practices and skills for safety, wellbeing and renewal to sustain women’s vital organizing efforts in complex political contexts, and for those who have survived violence.

STOP by our booth – an interactive space featuring all things JASS from information and publications, to promotional materials including stickers, postcards and more!
