Beginning with International Women’s Day, women’s rights activists around the world used the month of March to honor and celebrate women’s movements and their many achievements. JASS allies from Cambodia to Zambia to Honduras mobilized their alliances and media creativity to lead public dialogues, street marches, radio discussions and educational events in schools involving hundreds of LBT activists, young women, human rights defenders, indigenous and community-based leaders, and sex workers – crossing the line in all sorts of ways to honor women’s contributions to a better world.
